Results from Laser Vision Clinic Central Coast exceed expectations

The clearest evidence of any surgeon’s skill is his or her results. We are proud to report the results of our thorough retrospective analysis of patients of Laser Vision Clinic Central Coast in 2013:

•  96% of all laser eye surgery patients achieved 6/6 (20/20) or better unaided vision (without glasses or contact lens) to correct short sightedness, long-sightedness, astigmatism and the reduced clarity of closer vision as we age.
• 100% of all laser eye surgery patients achieved 6/9 (20/32) or better unaided vision. That is better that the Australian driving requirement standard of 6/12 (20/40).

Our patient post-operative outcome results compare favourably to those reported by a large analysis from the Singapore National Eye Centre of laser refractive surgery in 2010 on almost 38,000 eyes of 20,000 patients over a 10 year period.  The Centre’s analysis reported approximately 73% of their patients achieved 6/6 or better unaided vision and approximately 90% achieved 6/9 or better unaided vision.
