Our Medical Director, Dr Anil Arora, has been featured in an article in Pie Magazine’s 3rd issue – September/October 2017 – Better Together – Crossing the Line Between Segments.
Ophthalmologists often specialize in either anterior segment or posterior segment surgery. This article discusses surgeons who “crossover” and specialize in both. After completing his Ophthalmology training, Dr Arora studied vitreo-retinal surgery and medical retina, and later studied laser refractive surgery before setting up Laser Vision Clinic Central Coast. In this article, Dr Arora discusses the value of having the wide range skills to carry out a full range of eye procedures from the front to the back of the eye.
